Vegetable Potstickers!

I made potstickers!

But first, let’s chat about social media. K?

Okay, does anyone else sit around at family dinners and talk about how many followers and likes they’ve gotten on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram?

Because we do. Is that weird? Or maybe it’s wrong—like, should we really be this wrapped up in all that? I don’t know, but hey, at least it gets us talking instead of staring at our phones!

Honestly, I’m still pretty new to the whole social media thing. My first thought isn’t, “Oh, I should tweet this!” or “Maybe I’ll post this pic on Instagram.” But when I started my blog and realized how much social media helps grow a following, I figured I’d hop on board.

But wow, there’s a learning curve! Twitter basically has its own language—I had no clue what #FF (FollowFriday) meant. Tech skills? Yeah, I don’t have ’em. See for yourself!

Okay, now let’s talk about these adorable, veggie-packed potstickers! Aren’t they just the cutest, most imperfect little dumplings you’ve ever seen?

…Yeah, don’t answer that. I tried!

So, I stuffed these guys with veggies. Yes, veggies!

I know what you’re thinking—Vegetables in my potsticker? What the—? But trust me, these are good. Really good. Way better than the frozen ones with an ingredient list longer than a paragraph (and, full disclosure, I’m the world’s worst reader… and speller, too).

Seriously, I even served these to meat-eaters who swear they hate certain veggies (mushrooms, I’m looking at you), and guess what? They loved ’em. Had no idea they weren’t the usual meat-filled kind. Crazy, right?

For a fun dinner, I paired them with steamed white rice and broccoli to make it a full meal, but they’re also perfect as an appetizer!
